Austin Ellwein (b. 2000) is an American fibers artist based in Brooklyn, New York. Ellwein grounds his works in mysticism, exploring folk exteriors while infusing them with personal incantations. Currently, Ellwein is a designer for STARK Carpet . Ellwein has given his audience the freedom to connect with their actual selves, find solace within their own introspection, and create space to become their curiosities with the similar audacity of a child.


Ellwein graduated with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Fibers from Savannah College of Art and Design in June of 2023.
